Video released by Italian firefighters shows the dog being slowly and carefully rescued from the rubble in Norcia.

The 6.6-magnitude earthquake struck Norcia on Sunday morning, leaving 15,000 people homeless and destroying the 14th century Basilica of St. Benedict.

Fortunately, no one was killed or seriously hurt.
