Drexel University says it's investigating a respected law professor who allegedly emailed students a link to a pornographic video.

Drexel University says it's investigating a respected law professor who allegedly emailed students a link to a pornographic video.

Action News obtained a copy of the email that was sent from Professor Lisa McElroy's email address. It says, "I thought this article on brief writing would be interesting for all of you."

It is then followed by a link to a pornographic website.

Drexel declined our request for an on-camera interview, but released a statement that reads in part, "Drexel is required to initiate fact-finding for all reports of inappropriate behaviors of a sexual nature that may impact members of our community."

The associate professor teaches legal writing and teaching methods at Drexel's Thomas R. Kline School of Law.

McElroy is a cum laude graduate of Harvard Law School.

Her bio lists several writing credits including 'Sex on the Brain: Adolescent Psychosocial Science and Sanctions for Risky Sex.'

She has written several children's books about the court's justices and other officials.

McElroy was also a contestant on ABC's Who Wants to be a Millionaire.

Attempts to reach Professor McElroy for comment were unsuccessful.
