Driver killed in Burlington County crash

WESTAMPTON TWP., Pa. (WPVI) -- One person was killed in a crash in Westampton Township, Burlington County.

It happened around 4:30 a.m. Sunday on Route 541.

Police say the driver of a car lost control, ran off the road, and struck a guardrail, causing the vehicle to overturn.

The drive was ejected from the car and pronounced dead at the scene.

Police are trying to determine what led to the deadly accident.

The driver's identity has not yet been released.
