Driver sought after striking multiple vehicles, fleeing scene in Juniata

JUNIATA (WPVI) -- Police are searching for the driver of a car that struck at least three vehicles, then fled the scene in the Juniata section of Philadelphia.

It happened around 4:35 p.m. Friday at I and Tioga streets.

Initial reports are the male driver of the striking car was being pursued by a person that witnessed the accident.

The driver of the striking vehicle was last seen in the area of Bridge and Torresdale Avenue.

The driver reportedly flashed an item that appeared to be a gun at a trailing good Samaritan.

He remains at large.

No injuries were reported.
