FaceTime helps lead police to New Jersey motel assault suspect

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, N.J. (WPVI) -- FaceTime helped lead police to a suspect in an assault in South Brunswick, New Jersey.

Police say a person, who was being attacked at the La Mirage Motor Inn on Route 1, hit FaceTime and reached a relative. That relative eventually called police.

Although officers arrived quickly, the suspect, identified as Jaron Thomas, managed to get away.

He was arrested a short time later.
