Police say a fight between two men outside Pat's Steaks in South Philadelphia ended with a stabbing.

SOUTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police say a fight between two men outside Pat's Steaks in South Philadelphia ended with a stabbing.

Officers were called to the restaurant in the 900 block of Wharton Street at 1:50 a.m. Saturday.

They found a 41-year-old man who had been stabbed in the upper chest area.

Police took him to Thomas Jefferson University Hospital for treatment.

There was no word on what led to the fight.

A search is underway for the man's attacker.
