Financial advisor accused of stealing thousands from client in Burlco

MORRESTOWN, N.J. (WPVI) -- A financial advisor in Morrestown, Burlington County, has been arrested for stealing thousands of dollars from a client.

Forty-six-year-old Brian Murphy faces several charges after investigators say he used the $900,000 to pay for personal expenses over a period of four-years.

Police say the client thought the money was being invested in mutual funds.
