WILMINGTON, Del. (WPVI) -- Firefighters were on the scene of an apartment blaze Sunday afternoon in Wilmington, Delaware.

It started inside a 3-story apartment building on the 1500 block of Broom Street.

Crews arrived to heavy flames on the third floor apartment.

The fire damaged three apartments in the building where the blaze started.

Smoke then spread to the attached building, and damaged three other apartments.

A total of six apartments were heavily damaged.

There were no reports of any injuries.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
