An early morning fire destroyed a home in Mantua Twp., New Jersey.

MANTUA TWP., N.J. (WPVI) -- Fire has heavily damaged a home in Gloucester County.

Firefighters were called to the unit block of Hollybrook Drive in Mantua Township at 12:00 a.m. Monday.

Flames were showing throughout the home.

The roof of the home partially collapsed before crews got the upper hand.

Action News is told two people who were inside were able to make it out safely after being alerted by smoke detectors.

Officials with South Jersey Gas were on the scene along with fire investigators searching for the cause.
