Fire damages Uwchlan Township home

UWCHLAN TWP., Pa. (WPVI) -- The wind fanned a fire that ripped through a family's home in Chester County.

It happened around midnight Sunday on the 400 block of Denford Way in Uwchlan Township.

Officials say a father and his three children arriving back home from a night out noticed the flames as they opened the front door.

They called 911 immediately.

Unfortunately, though, firefighters could not stop the fire from ravaging the house.

The search is on for the cause of the blaze.
