Fire forces 8, including infant from Frankford home

FRANKFORD (WPVI) -- A fire quickly spread from a two garages to a home in Philadelphia's Frankford section.

The fire started after 1:30 a.m. Tuesday on the 4800 block of Mulberry Street.

Neighbors reported hearing explosions then saw flames coming from a garage in the rear of the property.

There were no reports of injuries, but eight people including an infant were displaced.

The Red Cross is helping to find shelter.

So far, no word on the cause of the blaze.
