Fire prompts evacuations at Cherry Hill high-rise

CHERRY HILL, N.J. (WPVI) -- A fire has led to evacuations at a high-rise apartment building in Cherry Hill.

The blaze was reported at 7:30 a.m. Wednesday on the 6th floor of the Towers of Windsor Park in the 3000 block of West Chapel Avenue.

Images from Chopper 6 HD over the scene showed a bucket from a firefighting ladder truck extended up to a balcony area on the front of one of the buildings.

Officials tell Action News firefighters evacuated the building.

No injuries have been reported.
