CHESTER, Pa. (WPVI) -- Firefighters rescued a person who was stranded in the Delaware River Sunday afternoon.

It happened around 4 p.m. north of the Commodore Barry Bridge in Chester, Delaware County.

Authorities say the victim lost control while on a Jet Ski and became stranded in the river.

A rescue boat from Tinicum Township arrived to help to get the victim.

The victim is expected to be okay.
