Fireman injured, 3 displaced in Somerton fire

SOMERTON (WPVI) -- Three people are displaced after a house fire that left a fireman injured in the city's Somerton section.

The fire broke out around 2 p.m. Wednesday in the 1800 block of Tomlinson Road.

It was brought under control at 2:25 p.m., officials said.

A firefighter was treated for a minor leg injury.

All occupants of the two-story home made it out safely, officials said.

The Red Cross has been called in to assist one man and two womEn displaced by the fire.

No word yet on the cause of the blaze.
