Great Pantry Makeover

WILMINGTON, Del. (WPVI) -- In Wilmington, it's being called the "great pantry makeover", and that's exactly what it was.

The Richardson park community action food pantry on south Maryland avenue was getting refurbished, and re-stocked.

Workers with the Food Lion grocery store chain, provided the man-power, painting and repairing the pantry in the morning, and stocking it's brand new refrigerator in the afternoon.

The month of September is "Hunger Action Month" in Delaware, and this was part of a series of events and programs, to raise awareness.
