FISHTOWN (WPVI) -- Philadelphia Police have arrested the suspect who robbed a 7-Eleven convenience store at gunpoint in the Fishtown section.
35 year-old William Robinson, from the 2000 block of East Lehigh Avenue, is charged with robbery and other related offenses.
The incident happened June 26 at approximately 1:22 a.m. in the unit block of West Girard Avenue.
According to the store clerk, Robinson waited for other customers to leave the store, then produced a gun and demanded money from the register.
Police say they arrested him later that day for a robbery at a Pizza Hut located on the 2700 block of South Front Street and he was later identified as the suspect in the 7-Eleven robbery.
