Gunman sought in 7-Eleven robbery in Crescentville

CRESCENTVILLE (WPVI) -- Police are searching for the gunman who robbed a 7-Eleven store in the Philadelphia's Crescentville section early Tuesday morning.

The robbery happened around 2:00 a.m. on the 5800 block of Rising Sun Avenue.

According to police, the suspect wore a mask and entered the store with a gun.

They say he demanded cash and then made off with $200.

He was last seen fleeing northbound on Rising Sun Avenue.

There were no injuries reported.
