New Jersey State Police say human remains found earlier this week have been identified as a woman reported missing in 2006.

PEMBERTON TWP., N.J. (WPVI) -- New Jersey State Police say human remains found earlier this week have been identified as a woman reported missing in 2006.



36-year-old Stacey Grater, of Pemberton Township, was last seen in February 2006.



On Monday, hunters in a wooded area along White Bogs Road discovered the human remains.



After calling police, the remains were excavated and positively identified by the Burlington County Medical Examiner's Office.



The details and circumstances surrounding Grater's disappearance are still under investigation.
