Man, 19, shot and killed in North Philadelphia

NORTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police are investigating a homicide after a man was found shot multiple times in a car in North Philadelphia.

It happened around 9:00 p .m. Thursday.

Police were originally called for the report of a shooting at 10th and West York Streets.

Moments later a report came in for a car accident at 10th and Dauphin.

Officers arrived to find the victim, a 19-year-old man, inside unconscious, suffering from gunshot wounds to the chest and thigh.

He was rushed to Temple University Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

No word on a motive or any suspects.

Police continue to investigate.
