EAGLEVILLE, Pa. (WPVI) -- State police have charged a man in connection with a threat that prompted a morning lockout at Methacton High School in Eagleville.

Twenty-one-year-old Devin Hitchens of Stowe, Pa., is facing multiple charges including terroristic threats and stalking.

After receiving word of a threat made against a student, school officials consulted with law enforcement.

Then around 7 a.m. Wednesday officials implemented a lockout procedure.

As a result of their investigation, police took Hitchens into custody.

Police say he threatened to shoot a former girlfriend and harm her siblings who attend Methacton.

The lockout was lifted around 9:30 Wednesday morning.
