Man falls from scaffolding in University City

UNIVERSITY CITY (WPVI) -- Emergency crews rushed to the scene of where a man fell from scaffolding in University City on Monday.

It happened around 1:10 p.m. in the area of 34th and Chestnut streets.

The extent of the victim's injuries are not yet clear, and it's also unknown how far the man fell.

Authorities are investigating the circumstances that led to the incident.
