WEST MOUNT AIRY -- Philadelphia Police are investigating the stabbing of a man who was found dead in the basement of a home in the city's West Mount Airy section.
Police were called out to the 6400 block of Limekiln Pike just after 1 a.m.
According to investigators, a man living there said he heard a noise in the basement and went to investigate.
There, he told police, he found his roommate with stab wounds to the chest.
The name of the man killed has not been released.
Police have not named any suspects or revealed a possible motive in this case.
