Man injured in shooting in Wilmington

WILMINGTON (WPVI) -- Wilmington police are investigating a shooting that left a man injured.

Police responded to shots fired shortly before 5 p.m. in the area of 27th and Tatnall Street.

The man suffered gunshot wounds to his leg and buttocks area, police said.

He was rushed to Christiana Hospital in stable condition.

At least one house and a passing vehicle were also struck, police said, during gunfire that included at least a dozen shots.
