UNIONTOWN, Pa. -- State police have been investigating the death of a man apparently killed while clearing brush on a farm in southwestern Pennsylvania.

Investigators believe 49-year-old Charles Adams Jr., of South Union Township, was killed on Sunday. But his body wasn't found until Monday morning, when family and other searchers went looking for him.

Fayette County Deputy Coroner Jessie Camilli says Adams suffered skull, arm and leg fractures after apparently falling off a tractor and beneath a brush hog he was pulling with the vehicle. He died of trauma injuries.

Toxicology tests on Adams' body will take several weeks.
