A man was killed in an RV fire in Bristol Township, Pa.

BRISTOL TWP., Pa. (WPVI) -- Authorities in Bucks County are investigating an overnight fire that destroyed an RV and claimed the life of a man inside.

Bristol Township police tell Action News that shortly after 2 a.m. Sunday, they along with firefighters were called to the 6700 block of Bristol Pike.

Officials say that is one of three locations in the township where those without homes are able to camp out.

According to police, an unidentified male was living inside an RV at that site when a fire started.

The male was unable to escape the RV.

The incident remains under investigation by the Bristol Township Fire Marshall and the Bristol Township Police Department.

They have not been able to identify the victim.
