Man killed in Deptford Township crash

DEPTFORD TWP., N.J. (WPVI) -- New Jersey State Police investigating after a man was killed in a crash in Gloucester County.

It happened around 4 p.m. Wednesday in the northbound lanes of Route 55 in Deptford Township.

Police say a vehicle went off the roadway, and hit a tree in the median.

A man in his 50s was killed in the crash.

Police say he was the only person in the vehicle.

No word on what caused the crash.
