Man robbed outside convenience store in Brewerytown

Philadelphia police are searching for a group of men who robbed a man outside of a convenience store in the city's Brewerytown section.

BREWERYTOWN (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police are searching for a group of men who robbed a man outside of a convenience store in the city's Brewerytown section.

It happened back on August 18 at 6 p.m. outside the Cecil B. Moore Grocery Store on the 2600 block of Cecil B. Moore Avenue.

The group of suspects can be seen on surveillance waiting for the man to exit the store.

That's when they surround the victim and grab his belongings.

The suspects then fled on food heading east on Cecil B. Moore Avenue.

Police describe the suspects as 6 unknown black males in their 20s. One suspect had long braids past his shoulders.
