We now know the name of the woman who was shot and killed in Montgomery County Thursday night.

MONTGOMERY TWP., Pa. (WPVI) -- Two people are dead after an apparent murder-suicide in Montgomery Township, Pennsylvania.

Police say it was 6:47 p.m. when they responded to the report of a shooting on the 800 block of Karen's Court.

Arriving officers found 36-year-old Brienne Francisco at the entrance of the home suffering from a gunshot wound.

Francisco was transported by medical helicopter to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center where she was pronounced dead.

When officers entered the home they found 58-year-old Leroy Wilson dead from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.

A revolver was located next to his body.

An autopsy was performed on the body of Francisco at the Philadelphia Medical Examiner's Office. The cause of her death was determined to be a gunshot wound to the head. The manner of death was ruled homicide.

An autopsy was performed on Wilson at the Montgomery County Coroner's Office. The cause of death is listed as intraoral gunshot wound. The manner of death was ruled suicide.

Police say both Brienne Francisco and Leroy Wilson resided at the home.
