Man shot 3 times in Tioga-Nicetown

TIOGA-NICETOWN (WPVI) -- A man was shot multiple times in the Tioga-Nicetown section of Philadelphia, police say.

The shooting happened around 1:35 p.m. Tuesday in the area of 17th and Tioga streets.

Police say the male victim was three times: once in the chest, once in the thigh and once in the shin.

He was taken to Temple University Hospital where he remains in critical condition.

Police are searching for the shooter.
