EAST MOUNT AIRY (WPVI) -- Police say a gunman shot and killed a man driving a car in the East Mount Airy section of Philadelphia.
The incident happened around 11:10 p.m. Wednesday along the 400 block of Vernon Road.
The 37-year-old victim was struck in the abdomen.
Police say he managed to drive about a half of a block before crashing into two parked cars.
Several of the neighbors told police that they heard one to three gunshots before the victim crashed.
Police found the man and rushed him to Einstein Medical Center, but he did not survive.
