Man sought in Delaware Canal towpath sex assault

SOLEBURY, Del. (WPVI) -- Police in Bucks County are searching for a man who is accuse of sexually assaulting another man at Washington Crossing Park.

The incident occurred around 12:30 p.m. Tuesday along the Delaware River Canal Towpath near the Thompson Neely House in Solebury.

Police say the victim was riding his bike when he was approached by the suspect.

The suspect then groped the male victim.

The suspect is described as a white male in his 50s, 5'8 tall, with a medium build, short greyish hair, and a mustache.

The suspect was wearing a black sleeveless shirt and blue shorts with the word "Italia" on the side of shorts.

He also had a symbol tattooed on his upper left arm.

Police say he had an Italian accent.
