Man wanted for 2 bank robberies in Philadelphia region

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Federal and local authorities need your help finding the man wanted in connection with two bank robberies in the region.

The latest robbery happened at 9:47 a.m. Friday at the Citizens Bank branch located at 7248 Rising Sun Avenue in Philadelphia.

Police say the man entered the bank and handed a teller a demand note. After obtaining cash from the teller he fled the bank.

And back on August 10th the same man is believed to have robbed the PNC Bank branch at 1316 Bethlehem Pike in the Flourtown section of Springfield Township, Montgomery County.

The suspect is described as a black male in his 30s, approximately 5'6" tall and 200 pounds, with a mustache.

He is considered armed and dangerous.

There may be a reward for information leading to this suspect's capture; tipsters can remain anonymous.
