FOLCROFT, Pa. (WPVI) -- Confessed cop shooter Donte Island has been sentenced to 33 to 100 years in jail.

Island pleaded guilty in May to shooting Folcroft officer Christopher Dorman during a drug investigation last June.

Dorman was shot seven times.

Dorman had several surgeries, but returned to duty just 2.5 months later.

Earlier this week, Island was sentenced to 11 to 23 months in jail for related gun and drug charges.
