Masked gunman robs cell phone store in Germantown

Philadelphia police are looking for a suspect who robbed a cell phone store at gunpoint in the city's Germantown section.

Philadelphia police are looking for a suspect who robbed a cell phone store at gunpoint in the city's Germantown section.

The incident happened just before 6 p.m. Saturday night at Hi Com Wireless store located at 13 East Chelten Avenue.

Police say the suspect approached a 26-year-old employee at gunpoint and demanded cell phones and cash.

He got away with 25 phones and an unknown amount of cash before fleeing the scene.

There were no injuries reported during this robbery.

The suspect is described by police at as black male, 30-40-years-old, 6'4" tall with a dark complexion and thin build. He was wearing a black cloth covering his face, black hooded sweat jacket, black sweatpants, and white sneakers. Offender was wearing . Offender was armed with a black handgun.
