PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A large group of motorcyclists took time Saturday to honor local heroes who have passed away.
A motorcade made its way around the Delaware Valley as part of the tribute honoring 274 fallen Philadelphia police officers.
Hundreds of volunteers, police and family members came out to visit 54 cemeteries across our region.
At each grave, blue wreaths were laid in honor of the sacrifice the officers made while on the job.
A ceremony was also held to honor those officers whose graves could not be found.
