Mystery snow mound disappears in North Philadelphia

NORTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- 7th and Poplar in North Philadelphia was a mostly clear if somewhat icy street Monday night.

So what makes this so surprising and worthy of attention?

Well, it wasn't that way just hours before.

An enormous snow mound blocked off the entire intersection baffling neighbors and drivers.

Even city officials told Action News they did not know who dumped the snow there.

But just as mysteriously, someone moved mountains to clean it up.

The Philadelphia Streets Department has not yet returned our call to find out if they deserve the credit.
