New walking and biking trails in Philly
The city of Philadelphia continues to expand its system of walking and biking trails.

SOUTHWEST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- The city of Philadelphia continues to expand its system of walking and biking trails.

A new section was unveiled Saturday in Southwest Philadelphia.

Mayor Jim Kenney and other city officials cut the ribbon on the Bartram's Mile Trail.

The 1.1 mile trail lengthens the Schuylkill River Trail from Grays Ferry Avenue to 56th Street.

It is right along the river, allowing visitors to take in scenic views of the skyline as they walk along the water.
