Newark man charged with dealing in child pornography

The Delaware State Police say a Newark man has been charged with 25 counts of dealing in child pornography.

The Delaware State Police say they received information on Thursday that 42-year-old Benjamin W. Luscher had numerous memory disks that contained images of child pornography. State Police say they got a search warrant and examined the memory sticks on which they found at least one video and 24 images of child exploitation.

State Police say Luscher was arrested Thursday evening and is being held at the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution.

Luscher did not appear to have a listed telephone number and could not be reached for comment.
