No stronger bond
Two former partners are back together Monday, and they couldn't be happier

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Two former partners are back together Monday, and they couldn't be happier.

Three year-old Hattie could not contain her excitement as she was reunited with Staff Sergeant Terry White at Philadelphia International Airport.

They became inseparable while serving together in Guam where they logged hundreds of hours patrolling for poachers and responding to bomb threats.

Their partnership sadly ended when White was transferred back to the U.S.

But recently an irregular heart beat forced Hattie into early retirement, giving White the chance to adopt his beloved dog.

White is getting help with Hattie's medical care from Mission K-9 rescue and the U.S. War Dogs Association.

Both groups work to reconnect military dogs with their former handlers
