A police chief in Florida is denying reports of racial profiling after officers were found using mugshots of African Americans for target practice.

NORTH MIAMI, Fla. (WPVI) -- A police chief in North Miami, Florida is denying reports of racial profiling after officers were found using mugshots of African Americans for target practice.

The chief told ABC News that officers may have exercised quote "poor judgment" by only shooting at pictures of black suspects.

He went on to insist that, in general, target practice includes multiple lineups, using images of all races.
