Parents located after toddler found wandering in Dover, Delaware

DOVER, Del. (WPVI) -- Delaware State Police say the parents of a toddler found wandering in a parking lot in North Dover have been located.

The boy's parents have contacted police and were on their way to be reunited with him.

Police say the boy, believed to be about 2 years old, was found at 5:30 a.m. Monday in the parking lot of Redner's Market in the unit block of Salt Creek Drive.

Troopers and store employees were unable to find a parent or guardian.

The boy, who is said to be in good health, was taken to the Troop 9 barracks in Odessa, where police said he was happy and playing.
