BRIDGEPORT, Pa. (WPVI) -- The family has identified the pedestrian who was killed after he was struck by two SUVs in a hit-and-run crash in Bridgeport, Montgomery County.

It happened around 11:30 p.m. Friday when 54-year-old Tom Daley was leaving a nearby family member's house, heading home, walking westbound near the intersection of East Rambo Street and Ford Street.

He was first struck by a late 90's black Ford Explorer. The striking vehicle's passenger side sustained damage around the headlight.

Police believe it was operated by a Hispanic male.

The second striking vehicle is described as a green Cadillac or Lincoln SUV with a decal on the rear window of a family of stick figures, police say.

Daley's widow, Eileen says, "Help us to find these people please, I have two little boys, they are 12 and 9, he was the love of my life please help us find these people."

Married for twenty years, Eileen Daley, surrounded by family on her Bridgeport front port tried to comprehend who could hit her husband and leave him to die.

"I think what they did was inhumane, cruel, how could you leave my husband like that he was a good guy, wonderful father, terrific husband," said Eileen

Chris Pounds, a witness told Action News, "I was inside putting my baby to sleep and I heard a loud bang."

Pounds ran out of his home and actually saw the driver of the first vehicle get out and survey the scene.

His wife called 911, and Pounds says he ran out to the street only to witness the unthinkable.

"As I'm coming outside to see if he's Okay, another SUV coming down the street ran him over again right in front of me," said Pounds.

He continued, "The driver who got out, then fled. The driver of the second vehicle never stopped."

Crews rushed Daley to nearby Einstein Medical Center Montgomery, where he was pronounced dead.

Police are asking that any witnesses come forward and anyone with surveillance cameras on their property that could have caught the incidents on tape.
