Pedestrian struck, gets pinned under car in Broomall

BROOMALL, Pa. (WPVI) -- A pedestrian was struck by a car in Broomall, Delaware County.

It happened around 8:45 Friday night in the 200 block of Foxcroft Road.

The victim was struck and then trapped underneath the vehicle.

It took crews nearly a half hour to free the person.

The victim was taken to Presbyterian Hospital with serious injuries.

The accident is under investigation.
