Police: 1,500 bags of heroin found at Delaware apartment
WILMINGTON, Del. (WPVI) -- Authorities say two men are facing charges after more than 1,500 bags of heroin, a gun and cash were found at a Delaware apartment.
Police said in a release Tuesday that officers with the Drug, Organized Crime and Vice Division executed a search warrant after a drug investigation focused on the apartment in Wilmington.
Police say they found a handgun with eight rounds and an obliterated serial number, more than 1,500 bags of heroin, seven grams of crack cocaine and nearly $1,500 in cash.
Police say 34-year-old Brandon Harris and 22-year-old Miles Harris were taken into custody while police searched their home. The men are charged with drug possession and weapons offenses. Police say the men are related, but their relationship wasn't immediately known.
