Delaware state troopers say an alleged burglar can blame his sweet tooth for his arrest.

Delaware state troopers say an alleged burglar can blame his sweet tooth for his arrest.

Investigators say Richard Walls, 47, triggered an alarm at the Taramino Place apartments in Lewes on Monday night.

When they arrived, they allegedly found Walls leaving the parking lot with the resident's flat screen, cable box, and controllers.

But the thing that really gave him away?

Troopers spotted an still-frozen vanilla fudge drumstick in the car's console.

After investigating, the victim confirmed that, along with the electronics, an ice cream cone had gone missing from his freezer.

Walls is now facing a number of burglary charges.
