Police investigate double shooting in Camden

CAMDEN, N.J. (WPVI) -- Police are investigating a double shooting that left a man dead and a woman injured in Camden, New Jersey.

The shooting happened inside a residence around 4:45 a.m. Saturday on the 1400 block of Rose Street.

Officers arrived to find 31-year-old Javan Boyd and 28-year-old Lashana Davis suffering from gunshot wounds.

Both were rushed to Cooper Medical Center. Boyd later died at the hospital.

Davis is in stable condition.
