Police investigate the injuries of a man found in Kensington

KENSINGTON (WPVI) -- Police are working to determine how a man was injured in Philadelphia's Kensington neighborhood.

It's not clear if the victim was stabbed or shot around 2:30 a.m. Wednesday.

He was discovered on the 800 block of East Madison Street.

He was taken to Temple University Hospital. No word on his condition.

The incident remains under investigation.
