Police investigating Wilmington double shooting

WILMINGTON (WPVI) -- Police are investigating a double shooting in Wilmington.

It happened around 11:54 p.m. Saturday in the unit block of West 27th Street.

Police say arriving officers located a 27-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds to his lower body, and a 25-year-old woman suffering from a gunshot wound to her right hip area.

Both victims were treated on the scene, and taken to Christiana Hospital. The man is listed in critical, but stable condition, and the woman is listed in stable condition.
