Police say an argument between neighbors ended with two women shot in West Philadelphia late Tuesday night.

WEST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police say an argument between neighbors ended with two women shot in West Philadelphia late Tuesday night.

Gunfire rang out around 11:15 p.m. on the 800 block of North Fallon Street.

Two women who were sitting on their front porches when they were struck and injured.

A 35-year-old woman was hit in the head and rushed to the hospital in critical condition.

The other woman,35 was hit in the face. She is in stable condition.

The suspect fled on Hoopes Street.

Police say officers responded to the same area earlier in the night to break up an argument among people who live on the block.

They are checking surveillance cameras for information.
