Police: NJ man arrested for sexually assaulting child

BRICK TWP., N.J. (WPVI) -- Police have arrested a 37-year-old man for the alleged sexual assault of a child.

John L. Leone of Brick Township, New Jersey was taken into custody on Tuesday after a four month investigation.

He is charged with aggravated sexual assault, and endangering the welfare of a child under the age of five.

Leone is currently being held in the Ocean County Jail with bail set at $300,000.

Police did not release any further details about the victim.
